OVERTON

This small town is the home of the Lost City Museum of Archaeology which occupies an extensive Anasazi site.

The museum contains fossils, semiprecious gems and Indian artifacts. A restored pueblo rests on 1,500-year-old original foundations near the museum.

The nearby Overton Arm of Lake Mead is popular for fishing and boating.
